This is from January of 2007 but I wanted to share these pictures anyway. We had the most remarkable time at Discovery Cove in Orlando Florida. The entire place is like the Garden of Eden. Absolutely breath taking. We spent the entire day swimming in a coral reef with tropical fish, stingrays, and of course dolphins. We all rode on the dolphins fin across the pool. Our dolphin was Lester and he was the oldest ( 30) at DC. He was a big fat boy and when he did flips in the pool, it got even the bystanders wet.

We are busy planning our next Orlando trip to Disney August 8-18th. We are taking one of Savannah's friends Maggie for the first few days of the trip so Savannah is very excited. We have been to Disney several times and really enjoy the entire Orlando area. Now that the girls are getting older, we may try some other types of travel. We would like to visit Europe, Australia, or Hawaii soon but not the traditional places. We'll see.......

This is Ava's best friend Rachael. They have been best buddies since kindergarten. They have their fair share of girlie drama but they are the best of friends on MOST days.

Ava donated 10 inches of her hair to Locks of Love today. Locks of Love accepts donations of hair to make wigs for children and adults suffering from permanent hair loss from disease or other medical conditions. She had been wanting to do this for a long time. We were very proud of her and she loves her new haircut for summer. It is actually a little shorter than this because we had to take her back to get it trimmed as it was a little uneven.

Savannah was a Jr. Bridesmaid and Ava was a flower girl. They were both very pretty and had a great time!

Savannah has been playing the violin for 5 1/2 years. She is getting very good and we are very proud of her accomplishments.

Ava is blue... cranking a goal.

Soccer

Ava and 5 other girls competed in a 3v3 tournament in Cincinnati and placed second. They actually qualified for regionals in Chicago and may go on to nationals at Disney Wide World of Sports. Ava plays select soccer at the premier level for Warren County Soccer Club. She has a great team and we expect great things from all of them for many seasons to come.

Savannah spent her 11th birthday with family. She chose to go to Horse camp this year instead of having a party. In fact, she just finished it up this week. She had a blast. She has been taking horsemanship and riding lessons for a year. She rides English style and just learned to canter.

I can't believe Ava is 7 already. She had a great "girl" party with all her friends at Pump It Up. This photo is at home from her "family party".

Chris and I were married in October of 1993. We have two beautiful daughters... Savannah ( 6/15/96)and Ava Rose (5/3/00). We also have a lab named Ella and a Sheltie named Spanky. Our newest addition to the family is a 6 month old leopard Gecko named Spot.
